Student Responsibilities Part 3

What is important to you is that you, as you start to reach milestone in your ambitions, you appreciate your own achievements. It is a boost, of course, if others appreciate what you have done too, but appreciating yourself will strengthen your self-belief, and reinforce your determination to succeed.

Some of the key characteristics you will find in those who are successful are perservance, prepared to research, plan and work hard, practice a lot even when things do not seem to be going well, and an ability to recover and learn from setbacks. At the outset of whatever it is to you are trying to succeed in, a strong vision of your future, planning, and setting yourself achievable targets can all play an important role.

If you feel you do not normally have all those characteristics, then don’t despair. Each of them can be accomplished by your own application. You can use meditation and visualization techniques to imitate your vision, and they can certainly be learned both for that purpose and for each step you take to reach your goal. Setting goals and objectives can be learnt. You can develop inner strength to succeed if you apply yourself to doing just that; that will enable you to recover from setbacks more easily.

Student success statement
My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”

Theodore Hesburgh
This statement is very true. Decisions can change your life. Everything you do effects what happens in the future. When you make a decision if you do it because it’s easy you will be passing up a harder however better opportunity. In life you will face many hard decisions. So no matter what you will need to face them. If you start to do them now when they come you will know what is right to do. Also you should never base it on what others want it is all on you.

Student success
statement
“Decisions Determine Destiny”
Thomas S. Monson
This is very true because the decisions you make determine your destiny im many ways but mostly in life.it can also determine your grades and the spot you get in a job

Successful Students Part 2

          4. Successful students learn that a student and a teacher make a team. Most teachers want exactly what you want: they would like for you to learn the material in their respective classes and earn a good grade. Successful students reflect well on the efforts of any teacher; if you have learned your material, the instructor takes some justifiable pride in teaching. Join forces with your instructor, they are not an enemy, you share the same interests, the same goals-in short, you’re teammates. Get to know your professor. You’re the most valuable players on the same team. Your jobs are to work together for mutual successes. Neither wishes to chalk up a losing season. Be a team player!

5. Successful students don’t sit in the back.

 Successful students
Part 1
Successful students exhibit a combination of successful attitudes and behaviors as well as intellectual capacity. Successful student
1. Successful students are responsible and active. Successful students get involved in their studies, accept responsibility for their own education, and are active participants in it!
Responsibility means control. It’s the difference between leading and being led. Your own efforts control your grade, you earn glory or deserve the blame, and you make the choice. Active classroom participation improves grades without increasing study time. You can sit there, act bored, daydream, or sleep. Or you can actively listen, think, question, and takes notes like someone in charge of their learning experience. Either option costs one class period. However, the former method will require a large degree of additional work outside of the class
2.successful students have educational goals. Successful students have legitimate goals and are motivated bye what they represent in terms of carriers aspirations and life desires
actively listen, think, question, and takes notes like someone in charge of their learning experience. Either option costs one class period. However, the former method will require a large degree of additional work outside of the class

Characteristics of a successful student

many students do not know what it takes to be successful in the educational environment.

They understand good and bad grades in a general way, and they sense that they should attend classes, but that is where their knowledge begins ends .

Most instructors know what a good student is –and is not. For one thing, a good student is not necessarily the most intelligent individual in the class.

The following is a list of some characteristics of good students. This list is a description of what a hard-working student does and what a teacher likes to see. By learning these characteristics, you may better understand the day-to-day and class –to-class behavior of successful students. The idea is to provide you with guidelines you can follow which will help you get down to the business of becoming a serious, successful student.

1. Successful students attend classes regularly. They are on time. They listen and train themselves to pay attention. If they miss a session, they feel obligated

Student success statement
“it may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today”
--James freeman Clark
I believe this is very true all of our actions have an equal and opposite reaction. These actions can cause something bad or great to happen in contrast. Doing the right thing will in most cases give you a reward either thought, material, or self-satisfaction you get a reward instead. This also brands you as a good person. It is also with bad too. When you do bad, bad things do happen to you. Also you are branded as a bad person and will always be remembered by that.

PLAYAAA
I saw little Ian choosing the right. Instead of just keeping the ball for himself, he gave it back to the little boy who had lost it in the first place. He chooses the right and in reward he earned himself a 4 game contract and a baseball bat signed by his favorite baseball player. His good deeds weren’t given to waste. This shows that people can be kind and not everyone is bad.

32. They are generous and kind. They take pleasure in helping others achieve
33. They are humble and they are happy to admit mistakes and apologize. They are confident in their ability, but not arrogant. They are happy to learn from others. They are happy to make others look good rather than seek their own personal glory.
34. They are adaptable and embrace change, while the majorities are creatures of comfort and habit. They are comfortable with, and embrace the new and unfamiliar.
35. They keep themselves in shape physically, not to be mistaken for training for the Olympics or being obsessed with their bodies. They understand the importance of being physically well. 50 Habits of
Successful People

Keys to Successful Living Part 3

Keys to Successful Living
Part 3
(Anon)

we should understand our capacities and potentials, and then we should express ourselves in the external world with full confidence, acting steps without any reservations. Thus there are three in performing an action: first, forming an opinion within ourselves;, second, expressing our opinion to others; and third, executing our opinion in action.

Understanding habit patterns
the main thing that one should learn in life – and it’s not taught in home or in schools – is self-analysis. We should learn to analyze ourselves. If we really want to understand ourselves, we can analyze our personality by understanding our habit patterns. This is not difficult. We should simply try to be conscious aware of everything action we preform and realize that our action are virtually our thoughts. Without thought there can be no action. Habit patterns and thoughts are revealed through behavior. There is a branch of psychology called behaviorism that is based on this concept. But one should understand that external behavior alone cannot reveal everything about a person. Laughter, for example, cannot be analyzed behaviorally. If I were to laugh, you might also laugh with me simply because I was laughing but without understanding why I was laughing. Your laughter is out of sheer reaction.

KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING

Keys to Successful Living Part 04
(Anon)

What is Personality? The word “Personality” comes from the root word persona, which means “mask.” Our personality is a mask that we wear. We don’t have to wear a mask when we are by ourselves; we wear a mask to express ourselves with others. Our personality is a character, and that character is composed of certain habits. Each of us has numerous habits; so when we want to understand our personality, we should understand our habit patterns. A habit pattern is a conscious thought or action that one repeats again and again. This creates a groove in the unconscious mind and forms an unconscious habit. Unconscious habits are stronger than conscious habits. . All habit patterns are self-created. When we sit down and try to understand which of our habits control our life, we see that there are many deep-rooted habits within us.
Choose habits that will mold your personality into a super successful student and person.
